However, if they only have one copy of Asteroid Sanctuary, your deck could include one as well. Thus, if you're playing Light Side with someone who has two copies of Asteroid Sanctuary in their deck, your deck can't include any copies. Each player brings a standard deck, but the players on each side cannot exceed the normal limit for an objective. In the second mode, both sides consist of two players rather than one.
You can find the rules for that here, but it might be easier to watch a tutorial. The first is the standard game, in which one player controls the Dark Side, which wins by getting the Death Star dial to 12, and the other plays the Light side, which needs to destroy three objectives. For example, the Light Side objective The False Report can only be played if you're using Smugglers & Spies as your affiliation, and the Dark Side objective Moon Blockade can only be used if your affiliation card is Imperial Navy.
Other objectives can only be used if they match your affiliation card. Also, certain objectives, such as Along the Gamor Run or The Investigation, can only be used once they say Limit 1 per objective deck on them. You can't include any cards from objectives that aren't in it, and you can only have two copies of a given objective in your objective deck. Your objective deck determines your command deck. For example, if you were to use May the Force Be With You (set 112), you would need to include the Yoda that has 112 in the lower right corner, Dagobah Nudj, Yoda, You Seek Yoda, the Dagobah Training Grounds with 112 in the lower right corner, and the Seeds of Decay with 112 in the lower right corner. There are two sides: The Light side, which uses cards that have a blue back, and the Dark Side, which uses cards that have a red back.Įach objective comes with five cards that must be included in your command deck (the main deck you draw cards from) if the matching objective is part of your objective deck. You build decks by picking an affiliation card and at least 10 objectives from that affiliation's side to create an objective deck.
